Privacy policy
Hometown Ready sells printable preparedness plans. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your plan answers: your town, household size and plan type. We use them only to build your plan.
- Your email and payment details: collected by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. We never see your full card number.
How we use it
- To build and email your plan, and to resend it if you ask.
- To send occasional emails about preparing for your area's hazards, if you get a free snapshot or buy a plan. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site work: Lemon Squeezy (payments), Resend (sending your plan by email), GitHub (building your plan) and Cloudflare (hosting). We don't sell your information.
Affiliate links
Our gear page links to products on Amazon. Hometown Ready is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one of those links, Amazon may set cookies to credit the sale to us; Amazon's own privacy notice covers what it collects.
